I
was in my last grade of elementary school when I experienced my first birthday
that were celebrated accidentally by all of my classmates. Our teacher engaged
us to have a recreation before the national examination. A few weeks before our
trip, our teacher planned to go on 15th September 2006 but I didn’t
realize it was on my birthday. But, how sad to knew that a week before our
trip, I suffered chickenpox for few days.
Finally
the day was come. We went to Muncul and brickyard (place to make brick) on
foot. We left from school about at 7pm. We passed through Diponegoro street, then
we turned left to Monginsidi street. Because our first destination was the
brickyard, our teacher decided to continue our trip by passing Kartini street.
We also passed through small way (alley) beside a junior high school. That
alley brought us to Osamaliki street. Then, we continued our step to Ngandong.
Ngandong is a place in Osamaliki. It is the nearest way to go to the brickyard.
We walked through public burial, rice fields, residentials and other sights. We
could also see Merbabu mountain when we looked around. A few moment laters, we
arrived at the brickyard. We saw the bricks manufacturing process, it seemed so
easy but it wasn’t as easy as it seemed. We tried to make one for our
experience but it was so difficult to form the dough. It was interest us.
Next,
we continued to our primary destination, Muncul. It is a recreation place.
There are fishing spots, mini zoo, and some vehicles like water bike, carousel,
and a new swimming pool (at that time it was new). The last activity that we
did was swam. First people that get wet was me. My classmates pranking on me
because it was my birthday. Then we swam and got wet together.
I
really enjoyed our little trip and took many pictures for our collection. That
was so unforgettable.
